Pu-erh tea is made by parching and then fermenting the leaves of Camellia sinsensis, the same plant that is used for making green, oolong, and black teas. Pu-erh tea is mainly made in southwestern China and Taiwan. It contains caffeine, which stimulates the central nervous system, heart, and muscles.
